International group (Thursday afternoon)
From April till June 2026 we will have a new group at AJM. This group is specially for international students from group 6 and 7 who don't speak Dutch. The lessons will be in English and take place on Thursday afternoon from 3:45 to 5:15 PM.
The new international group will have a short rehearsal period of 10 lessons. The focus will be on personal development, group bonding and training in the disciplines of singing, acting and dancing. At the end of the period, we will have a performance to show the audience what they have learned.
How to get to the location (special service)
The students will be picked up at the Amsterdam International Community School (Sandcastle) after school (3:15 PM). Together with the teacher they will walk to the rehearsal space at Studio Free&Style, which is 10 minutes walking from AICS.
At 5:15 PM you can pick up your child at the studio.
Planning
We rehearse from April till June 2026. There are no rehearsals during school holidays. See the full annual planning here.
What do you need
You make sure you have your stuff with you to every rehearsal. What is expected of you:
- Folder (with or without holes, for song lyrics, game texts, assignments, information, script and other material)
- Notebook
- Pencil and eraser (for taking notes. You can attach this to the folder so you always have it with you.)
- Water bottle
- Comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.
