Regulations
- The contribution per course year must be paid via bank transfer to the account of Muze Artz; account number: NL81 FNOM 0114 9161 34, stating the invoice number.
- At the start of a new year, the child and parents have a period of 30 days to determine whether they will participate in the Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater. If we have not received a message before October 1, 2026, we will assume that your child will join us in the new year.
- Membership ends by written notice, with the contribution obligation continuing until the end of the school year. So if you cancel prematurely, the entire annual amount is still due.
- The contribution includes all rehearsals, performances, video and sound recordings, technical walk-throughs, dress rehearsals and performances in the theater. This does not include: the edited video of the performance and costumes for the performance.
- Costumes and attributes are purchased by the Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater. The costs of this are not included in the fixed contribution and are therefore additional costs for the child's parents.
- Once you have received certain costumes or attributes, you take them home and you are responsible for them from then on. Rehearsing in costume is allowed, but not mandatory (unless this is communicated).
- An audition is required for the Production Groups. If you pass the audition, you may join the Production Group.
- It is possible that additional rehearsals are scheduled for certain players in the last months before the performance. Keep this in mind when you have a large role.
- In a new production, auditions will be held to determine the correct division of roles.
- If you move or otherwise, please provide new address details, telephone number and e-mail address.
- The management is always open to comments and/or suggestions in the interest of the group. This is preferably done by e-mail or telephone conversation outside rehearsal time.
- It is important that you are present at every rehearsal. Working towards a performance is a group event, where everyone is needed. If there are no children, rehearsals for everyone else also stagnate.
- If you are unable to attend rehearsals, please notify Emilie in a TIMELY manner (by telephone or email), at least two weeks in advance.
- If you are given a role or solo, make sure you know it ahead of time.
- During rehearsals (singing, acting and dancing) we recommend wearing comfortable clothing in which you can move easily. In the absence of a dance rehearsal, it is up to you to practice the missed material independently via a rehearsal video or a fellow performer.
- The Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater is not liable for theft, loss, substitution or embezzlement of goods brought by the student.
- The Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater accepts no liability for costs incurred by students as a result of injury, accident, or destruction during rehearsal or performance days.
We wish you a lot of fun at Amsterdams Jeugd Muziektheater! 🎶
